|Only an hour’s drive away from city lays Genting Higlands, where at 2000 meters above sea level, the cool air offers a relief from the hot and humid lowlands. The journey includes a 3.4km cable car ride on the Genting Skyway, the longest in South East Asia. This entertainment city at the summit offers a large casino, international standard indoor and outdoor theme parks, amusement and most of restaurants. After a full day of fun, return by Skyway and then again by road back to Kuala Lumpur.
Batu Cave is one of Malaysia's most famous tourist destinations. The cave is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan. Rising almost 100 meter above the ground, the Batu Caves temple complex consists of three main caves and a few smaller ones. The biggest, referred to as Cathedral Cave or Temple Cave, has a 100 meter-high ceiling and features ornate Hindu shrines. To reach it, visitors must climb a steep flight of 272 steps. It is the focal point of Hindu festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia.
