Homestay and Resort

This tour is an excellent opportunity to have  closer experience and learn the Malay ethnic culture, nature, economic activity and scenic countryside. Homestay programs are also for those who wishes to experience more by staying with foster parents who will expose visitors to to the normal everyday activities besides experience with nature. Visitors will learn the work and the pastimes of the paddy economy besides enjoying the different seasons during planting, harvesting and maintenance of the paddy fields.

Day 1

After breakfast depart from Kuala Lumpur through a lonely and winding country road. Guest will have an excellent opportunity to view an actual Malay kampong scenery fruit orchard, palm oil plantation, virgin tropical rainforest and wetland forest. The first stop is at the fruit valley. Stop to wet the appetite trying out local fruits; dragon fruit, mango, papaya, banana etc. (availability of certain fruits is according to the season)

After trying some of our local tropical fruits guests will be taken to the Animal sanctuary. This sanctuary was established to protect, breed, heal and transit animals before being released in the jungle. Tapir is one of the most endangered animal and can only be found in Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo.

After visiting Tapir we will have lunch. After lunch we will visit a market and also where some local delicacies like kerepik are produced. The guests will also have an opportunity to visit the Mango farm and a local market.

Next stop will be at the Hornbill sanctuary. Hornbill from up to 5 species roamed the area freely and this area have been preserved s their sanctuary.

Time for dinner. Guests will be given a warm or cold towel and drink of special herbs before dinner. Dinner consist  of freshly caught fish and prawns from the river either BBQ or cooked in a traditional Malay style. Watch the Barongan and Kuda Kepang dance during dinner.

After dinner guest will be taken for a mesmerizing boat trip to witness colonies of fireflies. At about 10pm guests will be take to foster home.

Day2

Next morning breakfast with parents. Gather at the center where the guests will be briefed about the activities that will be conducted; fishing, kite making and batik painting.

After lunch guest will be taken to the paddy fields for a tour. After the tour depart to Kuala Lumpur.
